Connect with others with common experiences in our welcoming, supportive group.
We offer a regular, confidential, supportive space for Autistic people to connect with others who understand their journey, share knowledge, and build community together.
A safe, welcoming space where autistic adults can connect with others who share similar experiences, discuss topics that matter to us, and explore aspects of autistic wellbeing and self-understanding.
Our peer group meets monthly on the second Sunday of each month, creating regular opportunities for authentic connection in an environment that embraces and celebrates autistic ways of being.
We warmly welcome those who are self-identified, and recognise there are many barriers to formal identification.
Being a completely volunteer run organisation with limited capacity, we have had to make the difficult decision to discontinue our Autism Carer Support Group.
Going forward we will instead focus on running a select few special Carer events throughout the year.
We still encourage Carers to feel free to contact us if you have any questions, are looking for advice or resources, or just want to connect.
Our peer support group is open to new members while maintaining a safe, confidential space. The Autistic Peer Support Group is exclusively for Autistic adults, including those who are self-identified or suspect they may be Autistic.
While there's no formal membership process, attendance is limited to those who identify as Autistic to protect the privacy and safety of all participants. If you're unsure whether the group is right for you, please reach out to us.
We do not allow professional observers at our meetings, but are happy to connect with professionals and organisations seeking to improve their practice for the autistic community.
