Autism & Neurodiversity Community Information Night - May 26th, from 7pm at Myrtleford P-12 College
We run monthly support groups for Autistic people, and Carers of Autistic people, serving the Alpine Shire and surrounding areas, as well as occassional community events.

Sunday 25th May
1pm to 3pm, Bright Community Centre
Sandhya Menon will be visiting us in person as she explains how Autistic people uniquely experience emotions and why traditional regulation approaches can fall short.
Drawing from professional and lived experience, she'll share practical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies for Carers to better support the emotional needs of Autistic people in their lives.
Sunday Evening 25th May
From 6pm, Club Savoy Myrtleford
Join us at Club Savoy, Sunday May 25th for an all-you-can-eat Smorgasbord Dinner, with funds raised being donated to our organisation to help support our groups and future activities.
Doors open at 6pm, and bookings are highly encouraged.
Prices are: $40 Adults, $30 Teens, $20 Children (6-12 years) and Kids under 5 eat free.
More people in attendence means more money raised for our groups, so spread the word, and encourage family and friends to attend.

Monday Evening 26th May

Join us for a special free community information night with Sandhya Menon – developmental & educational psychologist, author, advocate and proudly Autistic and ADHD professional.
Learn about Autism and neurodiversity from a perspective that celebrates difference rather than deficit.
Sandhya brings both professional expertise and lived experience to help our community move beyond common myths and stereotypes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for families, educators, professionals, community members and anyone interested in understanding Autism through a neurodiversity-affirming lens.

Proud Autistic advocate, academic and author Sandra Thom-Jones visited us to share insights from her experience as someone who was diagnosed later-in-life, with discussion exploring important topics including Autistic health and well-being, Autistic Burnout and self-advocacy.

Our Carers took a well-deserved break, connecting with other Carers while taking a mosaic class together and creating something beautiful.

Sandhya Menon joined us to present on Autism and ADHD, and the experience of being both Autistic and ADHD. We had great discussions exploring various aspects of AuDHD experience, and understanding which traits and challenges can come from these neurotypes.
